The government should help companies based in Malta develop a Business Continuity Management System. Initially targeting the largest companies and later enforcing it by law. This allows companies to identify the main risks they are exposed to and prepare the necessary contingency plans and recovery strategies, so as to ensure continuity of business regardless of the interruption. If companies in Malta have such a system in place, security of business and employment is strengthened and secured.
