Public patricipation education

An effort should be made to introduce components in the secondary school syllabus to teach the basics of political education. This wouldn't be partisan but would include a great emphasis on critical thinking and the understanding of rhetoric in politics. We need an informed electorate.

Points

A critically able electorate will produce a stable, functioning democracy! This is not the current position and as educators we have a responsibility to strive towards it!
