Malta must aim to become a Start Up Hub for both Maltese aspiring entrepreneurs and foreign. Our model has is very weak for several business reasons. Yes, Start Ups need some office space and funds. Start Ups need much more funding than what is currently available on the island, Start Ups need experienced skills they do not afford, Start Ups need a Strategic Customer like a Government, Starts Ups need a Tactical Business Partner that will exit to be replaced by a Strategic Investor. Think!
Through Start Ups, Malta can easily create new Industries that can deliver value to our Maltese Citizens. If well managed, our Start Ups can become tomorrow's quality employers and exporters.
